1859 Cider Co. will be hosting this fun educational stitching workshop! Attendees will enjoy some excellent Oregon grown and brewed cider as Cara McFetridge leads them through a couple of basic stitches and the pattern for a garden-themed merit badge.
As everyone settles in to stitch, Cara will be joined by plant pathologist and home gardener Chris Benemann, and they will walk everybody through the process of starting a new garden: From planning the design to preparing the soil to buying and planting, they will give you the lowdown on how to create and nurture your own little green space at home. By the end of the night, you should have some new knowledge about gardening and embroidery, and the merit badge to prove it.
Registration fee includes $5 drink voucher and embroidery supplies.
Class limited to 25 participants; $25 per person.
